Epic Mommy Fail: On the way home I asked Patrick if he enjoyed his school lunch today. His reply, I told you mom that I thought my account was low. I'm now negative $4. I kept laughing and smiling. -$4. I'm thankful they let him eat.
I really thought he had $$ leftover from last year. Check has already been written and is on the way.
This ranks up there with the time I sent soup with Margelle for lunch and forgot to heat it up.
Gotta keep their expectations low. ;-)

Blessed beyond measure
Worth the read: At the end of our last school day yesterday, we had a group hug. I spontaneously decided to say a prayer over these precious children as they leave our nest. I prayed over their summer and first grade year and thanked God for sending them into our lives. Last night I got a text message from a parent with this picture. She took pictures all day long and this was the only one that showed up like this. She said the Holy Spirit was with us. Beautiful!
